Amarone? Made by Hand in Valpantena

Here in Costa Arente everything is done by hand. Craftsmanship is a prerogative of our estate, simply because it is the only way to make wine for us.

Here in Costa Arente everything is done by hand. Craftsmanship is a prerogative of our estate, simply because it is the only way to make wine for us.

We collect and select the grapes by hand and once in the boxes, we carry them on the carts to the drying room. It takes time to make the Amarone, patience and dedication.
Once the grapes are placed in the drying room it is necessary to wait 100 days before vinification. Our drying room has a modern system that guarantees the best conditions for the drying process of the grapes, it ensure a stable environmental condition and the natural air flow coming from the Lessini mountains.
The grapes harvested at the end of September have to wait for winter before continuing their journey to the cellar and throughout this journey, "handmade" is not only a need for us, but a fundamental value of our brand.

Amarone: long live the King

Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes: selected by hand, rest for three months in the loft, pressing at the end of the year and finally aging for 36 months in oak barrels.
The result is a wine of great structure that combines power and elegance.
