Made by hand
For us, craftsmanship is a value and we innovate only when modernity can raise the bar. This is why the grapes are still harvested and selected by hand at Costa Arente: because a better way is yet to be invented.
At Costa Arente we use a closed-circuit model: we work by hand, following tradition, we respect the land and its times and seasons, and each stage of the winemaking process takes place within our estate.
Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes: selected by hand, rest for three months in the loft, pressing at the end of the year and finally aging for 36 months in oak barrels.
The result is a wine of great structure that combines power and elegance.
Wine is always a discovery. Thus even an area like Valpolicella, about which everything and more has been said, can still surprise you and open you up to new experiences.
35 hectares, 17 of which are planted with vineyards: our estate stands on a hill, 250 meters above sea level, in the valley closest to Verona, the Valpantena.
